Six-Fours-les-Plages
Six-Fours-les-Plages is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France.
It is located in the metropolitan Communauté d'agglomération Toulon Provence Méditerranée, and is southwest of the main city of Toulon.
The city offers different points of interest. The fort located on the hill that dominates the city is neighboring a chapel from the eleventh century known as St Peter "collégiale". There are also nice beaches from the very popular "brutal beach", famous for windsurfing to the secret cove in the Sicié massif. You can find also the Embiers island which host an oceanographic research center and the smaller Gaou island where concerts are organized every summer.
Six-Fours-Les-Plages offers an irresistible way of life with its 18 km of coastline of golden sand beaches along the Mediterranean. In the Var region, Six-Fours is a charming seaside resort on the Provençal coast. An ancestral know-how of artisans and a gastronomy full of flavors.
