Jungfrau Region in winter

The ski resorts of the Jungfrau region lie directly below the world-famous backdrop of the Eiger, the Mönch and the Jungfrau. The alpine landscape is as varied as the choice of pistes and runs.

More than 45 mountain and cable railways and chair and ski lifts transport sports enthusiasts to over 200 km of pistes. You can take the Jungfrau railway from Interlaken, for example, ending up at the highest railway station in Europe, the Jungfraujoch, 3454 m above sea level. The longest cable railway in the Alps follows the trail of James Bond to the Piz Gloria on the Schilthorn.
