Champagny-en-Vanoise
Champagny Resort (alt 1250 m) - The heart of the village and the resort where the shops and principal facilities are gathered. The Champagny le Haut Valley (alt 1450 m) – A superb preserved valley, listed as one of the "natural sites and monuments of France" for the beauty of the landscapes and the preserved architecture of its villages. It is also the gateway to the Vanoise National Park (the oldest national park in France created in 1963) and one of the finest places for cross-country skiing and Nordic activities in the area.
Champagny-en-Vanoise is a traditional village linked to the La Plagne ski area since the early 1970s and now in a key location with the Vanoise Express double-decker cable car link to Les Arcs.
