Le Chateau d'Ouchy Hotel is a charming four-star castle hotel built around a massive tower of a 12th century fortress in an idyllic setting beside the sparkling blue waters of the Lausanne-Ouchy yacht harbor. Layered with history, the Chateau, recently restored to its 19th century grandeur and simultaneously modernized to cater to today's lifestyle, features airy, Louis XIII- decorated guest rooms. The building is an admirable, neo-gothic style monument designed by the architect Francis Isoz who was greatly inspired by the work of Viollet-le-Duc.
A magnificent Salon of the Knights replete with vaulted ceilings, decorative walls painted with bygone Coats of Arms, and beautiful stained glass windows - a comfortable fireside lounge with beamed ceilings - all crowned by a lovely outdoor terrace restaurant overlooking the promenade and sail-dotted Lake Geneva.
Le Chateau d'Ouchy Hotel is located on the edge of the lake, separated only by gardens. Its unique situation is one of the most striking of the area. The panoramic view which can be admired from almost all the windows is one of the most imposing and breathtaking in Switzerland.
