A modern business hotel, renovated in spring 2000, with 46 rooms and several restaurants, located in Rheinfelden's old town, directly on the Swiss/ German border. Only five minutes on foot from the railway station, with excellent train connections to and from Rheinfelden. If arriving by car, use the highway A3 Zurich-Basel motorway, exiting at Rheinfelden. The Hotel Schiff is only fifteen minutes by car from Basel.

Our spacious restaurant with its beautiful view of the old stone bridge across the River Rhine offers a wide selection of excellent seasonal cooking. We are experts in French, Italian and Swiss cuisine. We are, however, best known for our first class fish-cooking, having won the "Golden Fish" Award in 1997-1998, and are still a member of this society. During the warmer months you can enjoy our cuisine on our small and charming terrace above the River Rhine. For special occasions, we can provide banquet facilities for up to 100 people in an elegant room overlooking the River Rhine.
